A random dream about a bull or a cow may not seem so heartfelt or even intense. After all, most of us consider it to be livestock and nothing else. But dreams about bulls and cows can mean so much more than you think they can, and they clearly should not be taken lightly.
When you think of cows, you probably think of milk as its natural product. As humans, we all depend heavily on milk and its by-products. Now, take a moment to stop and think about how a cow nourishes millions and millions of people?
What about a bull, and what about the sacrifices it makes? As a society, we use each and every part of a bull and a cow. Milk, meat, and hides- these are all just sacrifices that cows and bulls make. This is an indication for us to do something for the greater good of the people around us because they might benefit from you. That does not entail that you need to be skinned to the bone that people end up taking advantage of you.
Now there’s always been a debate over the spiritual significance of a cow and a bull on whether they are elected to be incarnated and make this sacrifice for the mankind that they will soon be a part of and involve themselves in?
This consideration must be a part of your dream interpretation when you dream about bulls and cows. Are you being sacrificed for the greater good? Or is the sacrifice being forced to be done for you?
Cows have always been a symbol of fertility, abundance, and earthly connection and, therefore, the earth element. The cow is considered highly sacred in India and many other cultures, too, as it nourishes. Thus, making these gentle creatures symbolizes substance, growth, and femininity, mothering a nurturing connection.
Their closeness to the earth serves as a message to us to be closer to our roots not to lose touch with our humbleness. The cow is considered sacred because it is responsible for perpetuating the species through her life giving milk and sustenance, which she readily delivers onto her calf.
With the bull, we receive nourishment through the kill and consumption of the animal, whereas with the cow, one is nourished through the continuation of the cow’s life as it is a lot more valuable through its milk production. Here the species represent the duality in their nature and the opposite ends of extreme between life and death, with each role ending in life-giving sustenance and the mothering of its younger calf. Thus, cows signify the eternal strength and the immortal energy of life itself, for when we die, life continues and our legacy always follows us to our grave.
When a cow appears in your dreams, it tells you to be gentle but somehow still stay firm by being nurturing in your wake life. To find great happiness in this realm, you should spend time encouraging others and yourself.
Consider the sustenance you are taking in physically- is it enough to keep you healthy? How can you work on it if it is not adequate? Also, consider your spiritual and mental nourishment. It would be best if you considered taking care of yourself and making yourself whole before letting someone else take a part of you. When you sacrifice for them, the lattermost question will help you find the answer to your questions and fulfill the destination you are set to achieve.
